BA Thesis Design Project 2023
The project includes a visual identity concept for the Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien, located in the historic center in Vienna, Austria. It has one of the largest and most important art collections in the world with special emphasis placed on Renaissance and Baroque art. The permanent, picture gallery, is known for its monumental feeling as youwalk through. The visual direction is neutral, elegant, and balanced, using a logo that references the architecture and picture frames and contrasting typefaces. Moreover, the project highlights that contemporary visual design can show paintings, and find new interpretations while being respective over cultural heritage.
